How to customize background in Divi and add overlay colour

you’ve got your website built using Divi, but you want to make it stand out from the crowd. Well, today’s your lucky day! We’ll walk you through customizing your section backgrounds with ease, so your website becomes a real attention magnet.
Step 1 :
The first step is to access the section you want to customize the background. Open your Divi dashboard, navigate to the page you want to edit, and enter the ‘Visual Builder.'”

Step 2:
Once you’re in the Visual Builder, click on the desired section, and a bunch of options will appear. Look for the ‘Section Settings’ icon and go to Background settings.
Step 3 :
You’ll see a range of options to customize background in Divi. Whether you want a solid color, a gradient, or an eye-catching image, click on background image and change it, as easy as that.

Step 4:
But wait, there’s more! You can take it up a notch by adding a stunning background overlay. This will give your website a modern and polished look.
Go to colour gradient and add a gradient by click on + icon

then click on first colour stop and change it to any preference colour then click on the second colour stop and change it , you can also add additional colour stop by clicking anywhere on the colour line.

Step 5:When you created background gradient go to background image section and find “background image blend”, change it until you find a great look.

Once you’ve perfected your section background, don’t forget to hit that ‘Save’ button! I chose the screen mode and here is the result.
